Supporting community activities since 1985
Overview
Office and unit rental
City Works is home to various community, arts and commercial projects and is an ideal location for organisations wishing to be on the 'doorstep' of the people they support or strategically placed to serve the county.
From the outset our aim has been to support fledgling social enterprise in that the rents charged are less than the regional average. Many of our tenants are now established and we know that the high level of retention is due to the building's excellent services and its friendly atmosphere.
Tenants benefit from in-house meeting rooms, a top-quality photocopier, a kitchen space and refreshment area. There is also the added advantage of Cool Runnings Kids Club on site, providing out of school childcare. Tenants can also rest in the knowledge that their all-inclusive rent means no fluctuating or unexpected costs within a financial year.
As landlords, we are conscious of our environmental responsibilities and ask all our tenants to work with us to minimise our collective impact on the local environment. White paper, cardboard and ink cartridges are all recycled and minimal power usage is actively encouraged. A document entitled "Working Together To Keep It Together" is the building's watchword.
We have a selection of small-sized units to suit your needs, ranging from 113 to 430 square feet. We enjoy a high level of occupancy, however we're happy to keep contacts on file should a unit become available so please feel free to make an enquiry. We operate a licence system to minimise administration and a sliding scale of rental rates starts at £12-00 per square foot inclusive.
